With the base of the Adaptor featuring a range of 1/4″ and 3/8” threads, you can use it with a range of dovetail plates. The Adaptor also elevates the camera’s optical centre by 58mm, giving clearance for accessories whilst also accommodating the 15mm LWS height standard when used with the appropriate Baseplate and Riser combination.

The Vertical Adaptor is compatible with both our Left Side Plate and our Right Side Plate for the Sony VENICE Extension System Mini. Both plates are marked with the line of threads needed to correctly install the Adaptor so that it aligns with the camera sensor.

Clean Installation

Speaking of, installing the Vertical Adaptor is quick and easy: mounting to any two industry-standard 1/4″ threads with a few turns of a 4mm Hex Key. One of the mounting screws features locating pins, to help ensure that the Adaptor is correctly centred and easily secured in place.
