With the included C80 Top Plate and NATO Mount, the C80 re-engineers the stock C80 accessories – adding extra convenience for rigging.

The LeftField Mini Baseplate is 60% the size of the full-size LeftField 3 alternative, without losing our patented Open•UP system for quick-release functionality. Combined with the included Riser, you can set your C80 to the 15mm LWS standard height. This setup allows you to cleanly transfer your entire rig from any ARRI dovetail in moments.

Top Plate Convenience

Our C80 Top Plate offers freedom how you customise your camera. The Top Plate provides a canvas for customisation with 1/4″ and 3/8” anti-twist points; as well as MAP M4 points, a Cold Shoe mount, QD sockets and 15mm rod support. Securely mounted from three points, the Top Plate is a firm foundation for rigging. The Top Plate is designed to keep essential functions free, or relocate them on the Top Plate so you can customise without compromise.

Quick-Release Top Handle

The Top Plate also features a side-to-side NATO rail for attaching different accessories – which sits over the mount for the stock C80 Top Handle. This isn’t a flaw but a feature: the LeftField Mini Base Kit also features a NATO Mount, that converts your stock Top Handle for use with the Top Plate – adding further freedom to your setup. The Handle clicks into place when dead-centre on the Top Plate.

The Base Kit for the Canon C80 provides the framework for customisation, but the possibilities don’t end there. The Riser and Top Plate are designed to accommodate our dedicated Side Rib, for further expansion of what’s possible with the C80.
