The URSA Cine Immersive 100G is the world's first camera for live immersive production. It builds on the original URSA Cine Immersive with a faster 100G Ethernet port for SMPTE-2110 live video output, enabling real-time delivery of Apple Immersive Video for the first time. It features dual 8Kx8K RGBW sensors running at 90 fps and 16 stops of dynamic range.
The 100G Ethernet port delivers the bandwidth needed to output live immersive video via SMPTE-2110. The camera data rate is under 50 Gb/s, allowing two cameras to share a single 100G Ethernet connection. Combined with the optional URSA Live Encoder, live immersive video is compressed into ProRes for SMPTE-2110-22 IP video output.
Like the original URSA Cine Immersive, this model features dual RGBW sensors delivering 8160 x 7200 resolution per eye with pixel-level synchronization. A fixed custom lens system with a 180°+ field of view captures stereoscopic 3D immersive video with a whopping 16 stops of dynamic range. Built-in ND filters provide up to 8 stops of light reduction.
