The URSA Cine B4 Adapter Cable is an optional lens control cable that converts the 7-pin EXT connector on the front of the Blackmagic URSA Cine to the 12-pin Hirose connector used for electronic control of professional B4 broadcast lenses. This allows full electronic iris, zoom, and focus control of compatible B4 lenses when used with the separately available URSA Cine Mount B4.
When combined with the URSA Cine Mount B4, this cable enables the URSA Cine 12K to operate as a fully integrated broadcast camera using industry-standard B4 lenses. B4 lenses are electronically controlled and react quickly, making them ideal for live sports and broadcast production where fast, precise lens adjustments are essential.
