The Blackmagic Media Dock Ultra accelerates your post-production workflow by enabling incredibly high-speed network sharing and uploading from up to 3 Blackmagic Media Modules — the same removable media used in URSA Cine cameras. Two separate 100G Ethernet ports allow multiple edit stations to connect and edit directly, with each port operating as an independent network.
The Media Dock Ultra is designed to work alongside the HyperDeck ISO Recorder 100G for live production, where one 100G port connects to the HyperDeck for recording while the other connects to a network switch and editing workstations. DaVinci Resolve can edit growing files live even as recording is in progress. The unit features server-style front-to-rear cooling with multiple fans for redundancy, dual redundant power supplies, and SDI and HDMI status monitoring.
The Media Dock Ultra constantly syncs to Blackmagic Cloud, enabling a global post-production workflow. You can install it in a DIT cart for on-set color grading, then move the media module to post-production after the shoot without copying files. The unit supports all international AC voltages.
