Upgraded Image Stabilisation system

The Alpha 7 V utilises the same 4-axis multiangle LCD monitor system previously seen on the Alpha 7R V flagship models. The design can be freely adjusted in nearly any direction, providing excellent operability even the most challenging situations.

The Alpha 7 V utilises an upgraded 5-axis in-body image stabilisation system which delivers up to 7.5-step 1 stabilisation. An updated stabilisation algorithm paired with a high-precision gyro sensor provides precise detection and control right down to the single-pixel level, ensuring crisp and clear images, even on longer lenses at dawn and dusk.

AI-Enhanced Autofocus

Newly integrated on the BIONZ XR2 chip, the Alpha 7 V’s AI autofocus functions provide the same human pose estimation and subject detection options as the Alpha 1 II. Autofocus performance is also upgraded, with 60 AF samples per second ensuring crisp, consistent focus even when shooting at 30 frames per second.
