The affordable AXS-CR1 AXS media reader makes it easy to input 4K RAW and 2K RAW files at high speed on to a PC/Mac with a USB 3.0 interface. Users can transfer 4K RAW data recorded at up to 60 fps and 2K RAW at up to 240 fps.
Once on a PC, the RAW files can be screened using Sony’s free RAW Viewer software. The AXS-CR1 is designed to read sleek, high capacity AXSM™ memory cards as used by the AXS-R5 recorder working with PMW-F55 and PMW-F5 camcorders.

Compatible with PC or Mac
The AXS-CR1 is compatible with Windows Vista (64-bit) SP 2 or later, Windows 7 (64-bit) SP 1 or later, Windows 8 (64-bit) or Mac OS X 10.6 or later. Operation is not guaranteed on all computers.
Free RAW viewer software
Once on a PC/Mac, the RAW files can be screened using Sony’s free RAW Viewer software.
Low power consumption
The AXS-CR1 has low power consumption of 6W during USB-SS (USB 3.0) operation.
Compact size
The unit is small, with dimensions of approx. 100 x 43 x 150 mm (4 x 1 3/4 x 6 in.) (WxHxD, including protrusions) and mass of approx. 400 g (14 oz.) (excluding AXS Memory Card).
