14.4V, 98Wh Slim Size
The CIMO-98S consists of 8 ternary lithium cells, with a nominal voltage of 14.4V, 98Wh capacity, and 6.8Ah, offering flight-friendly capacity.
These ternary lithium cells provide higher energy density, achieving greater capacity in a smaller size, and deliver excellent low-temperature performance, capable of supplying power even in environments as cold as -20°C.
150W Constant / 200W Peak High Load Output
The CIMO-98S delivers a consistent 150W/12A high load, even at 1% capacity (with peak load up to 200W), enabling it to power high-power cine cameras and on-camera devices simultaneously. The high-load cells also ensure better battery life compared to standard load batteries when operating under full load for extended periods.
2× D-tap, USB-A & USB-C
The CIMO-98S is equipped with:
2x D-tap outputs (150W total) 1x USB-A (5V/9V 2A output) 1x USB-C (45W input and 65W output)
These allow it to power a variety of on-camera devices.
USB-C 65W Output
The USB-C port of the CIMO-98S outputs 5V/9V/12V/15V at 3A and 20V (max) at 3.25A, providing 65W of high power for laptops and various smart devices. It is universally compatible with BC1.2, QC2.0/3.0, FCP, SCP, and PD2.0/3.0 protocols.
USB-C 45W Charging Input
The battery can also be charged via a USB-C charger with PD2.0/3.0 ≥45W power, reaching full charge within 2.5 hours.
Please note that USB-C chargers with less than 45W output will not be able to charge this battery.
LED Torch
Double press the Power Check button to switch on the LED torch located on the rear side of the battery, helping you locate the V-mount plate in low-light environments.
Double press the Power Check button again to switch the light off. It will also automatically turn off after 60 seconds.
SWIT S-3822S V-Lock Charger/AC Adaptor
S-3822S is a portable 2-channel simultaneous (up to 2 batteries at a time) charger for V-Lock batteries
AC-DC Adapting Output
The S-3822S can also be used as an AC-DC adaptor with an output of 14.4V DC, 5A, 72W through its 4-pin XLR DC output.
Please note: the AC-DC adapting output will not work when battery is charging.
