Atomos is excited to announce up to 5.9Kp30 RAW support over HDMI from the brand new Panasonic Lumix S1H to the Atomos Ninja V HDR monitor-recorder that enables Apple ProRes RAW recording. The Lumix ProRes RAW update will be available on the Ninja V in early 2020.

The Federal Government has increased the Small Business Instant Asset write-off threshold and extended the scheme! The threshold has increased to $30,000, and has been extended to 30 June 2020. The instant asset write-off now also includes businesses with a turnover from $10 million to less than $50 million. These businesses can claim a deduction of up to $30,000 for the business portion of each asset (new or second hand), purchased and first used or installed ready for use from 7.30pm (AEDT) on 2 April 2019 until 30 June 2020.

Sony’s popular PXW-FS7 and PXW-FS7M2 XDCAM camcorders are now further optimized for news gathering thanks to a new  ENG-style build-up kit and a new B4 lens to E mount adapter. The build-up kit, CBK-FS7BK, enables extended shoulder mount usage, making the camcorders ideal for news production, interviews, documentaries, and reality television shooting. Combined with a new lens mount adapter, the LA-EB1, not only E mount but also B4 lens assets can be used on an FS7 or FS7 II, allowing users to capture images with deep and shallow DoF – all with a single camera.

Sony announces a new addition to its UWP-D series wireless microphone systems, offering superior sound quality by supporting Multi Interface Shoe (MI shoe) and a newly added Digital Audio Interface. The new UWP-D series enables direct digital audio recording and delivers high sound quality with low noise by skipping the D/A and A/D process in combination with a new SMAD-P5 MI shoe adaptor and Sony’s XDCAM camcorders PXW-Z280 and PXW-Z190. The new UWP-D series also achieves advanced integration with the camcorders and show audio information on the viewfinder for enhanced usability in the field.

The groundbreaking technology, found exclusively inside Bolt 4K, offers 8x the reliability of previous HD models, 1.5x more range, and superior image quality. Bolt 4K is the first 4K HDR wireless video system providing uncompressed, zero-latency (<1ms) transmission.
