Lemac, in association with the ACS, recently hosted an evening in our Melbourne theatrette demonstrating the new Epic camera, presented by Ted Schilowitz from RED.

Lemac’s Aaton Penelope has returned from the Land of the Long White Cloud where it has been used for the production of Two Little Boys, a new NZ comedy starring Bret McKenzie and Hamish Blake, due for release in early 2012.

Lemac is proud to have provided 2/3” HD Lenses with Sony EX3 mount adaptor for the production of Renegade Films’ documentary series, Immigration Nation: The Secret History of Us, which has recently screened on SBS Television.

Killing Time is the new 10-part crime drama from Fremantle Media Australia and TV1. It depicts the true story of the rise and fall of disgraced lawyer Andrew Fraser, played by David Wenham. 

More and more often, Red One is being selected as the camera of choice for TV series both abroad and locally, delivering cinematic images in a timely manner and on budget. DoP John Brawley followed up on his successful The Lowdown (also shot on Red, from Lemac) with Southern Star’s highly anticipated Offspring.

Lemac recently provided the aptly-chosen Red One Digital Cinema camera package for the upcoming feature, Red Dog.

Lemac Melbourne recently used it’s theatrette for a screening of Beautiful Kate, followed by Q&A with Director of Photography Andrew Commis ACS.

Mad Bastards is a forthcoming feature film from Mushroom Pictures, shot using Lemac’s Aaton 35III Super-35 camera kit.
