Top Plate Convenience

Where the Universal Dovetail adds freedom of placement for your camera, our C80 Top Plate offers freedom for what you place on the camera. The Top Plate provides a canvas for customisation with 1/4″ and 3/8” anti-twist points; as well as MAP M4 points, a Cold Shoe mount, QD sockets and 15mm rod support. Securely mounted from three points, the Top Plate is a firm foundation for rigging.

Full Functionality

With the Create Canon C80 Base Kit, we’ve worked to keep full access to the stock C80’s features. With our Top Plate covering the intended C80 top handle slot, the included NATO Mount repurposes the top handle for use on a NATO rail, so you can quickly install or adjust your handle on the move. We’ve also offered alternate placements for the C80’s film plane hook and microphone shockmount – meaning you don’t have to choose between freedom and function.
