The LMB 4x5 is the fourth generation of the ARRI Lightweight Matte Box standard, now expandable from an ultra-lightweight, single-stage, clamp-on configuration to a full-blown, studio-ready, tilting, swing-away setup with four filters. A truly modular offering, the LMB 4x5 allows use of 4x4 and 4x5.65” filters on lenses ranging from 62 mm to 165 mm in external diameter.

Suited for a wide range of applications in just one product, the robust but lightweight LMB 4x5 allows for an unprecedented level of flexibility. From a single-filter configuration for gimbals, drones, or Steadicams to clamp-on versions up to rod-mounted solutions, the LMB 4x5 makes short work of challenging situations. 

The Swing Away Tilt Module offers a comfortable swing-away function (with extension) for easier lens changes, as well as an integrated tilt module with 10° up and down adjustments for avoiding unwanted reflections. The LMB 4x5 also features versatile filter stage options, securing loops, and a tray catcher for maximum safety on set. The LMB 4x5 is compatible with 4x5.65 filter.
