Why do I need Pan Axis Control?
Excellent for Slow Dolly-Like Push-Ins and Pull-Outs
The Volt 3 simulates the inertia of a heavily built payload or antlers— meaning push-ins and pull-outs feel smooth, weighted, and deliberate. It provides real tactile resistance to the operator AND the ability to remove that resistance with zero delay mid shot with presets, making slow, steady moves easier to control and more cinematic.
Benefit: Achieve fluid, dolly-style camera movement in tight spaces and dynamic environments, without the setup time or adding weight.
Improved Operation in Wind and Challenging environments
One of the Volt 3’s standout features is its active stabilization of the pan axis, which prevents the rig from unintentionally drifting due to wind or environmental forces. Unlike traditional setups where a gust can slightly turn the sled, the Volt 3 adds resistance with electronic precision, letting the operator stay on target — even in unpredictable outdoor conditions while maintaining control.
