In 1992, Zaxcom introduced its first digital audio mixer, the DMX1000: a digital audio, a full feature mixer that was designed for video post-production. Then in 1995, Arria, a 4 channel digital mixer designed for post production. In 1995, Zaxcom manufactured and designed another first; this time in the radio broadcast industry DRC1000, the first digital radio console. DRC1000 was the first of the 3 digital radio consoles designed by Zaxcom. DRC2000 was developed in 1997 and DRC2024 in 1999. Both are expanded versions of the DRC1000.
