Sony NEX-FS100PK Bonus Promotion!
End-purchasers of a Sony NEX-FS100PK camcorder between January 1st, 2012 and March 31st, 2012 can claim a free HXR-FMU128 Flash Memory Unit and 2NP-F970 Dual Battery Pack. That's a bonus with total suggested retail value of $1,320!
The HXR-FMU128 allows a minimum of 10 hours of recording, while one NP-F970 battery allows a continuous shooting time of around 8.5 hours.

Lemac leads the way yet again
Lemac will soon become Australia's first rental house to offer Sony's groundbreaking new flagship camera, the F65.
The F65 CineAlta Digital Motion Picture camera was one of the most talked-about announcements at last year's NAB Show in April and was launched locally at events in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide in December.
It features a newly developed 8K sensor, which delivers pristine HD, 2K, and true 4K resolution today - and will go beyond 4K in the future, as industry needs evolve. This unique 8K image sensor offers higher image fidelity than any other camera through a combination of extraordinary resolution, 14 stops of total latitude, ISO800 sensitivity and wide colour reproduction to fit the IIF-ACES workflow. With 16-bit linear RAW output, the F65 also establishes the gateway to a complete, end-to-end 4K mastering workflow.

This year at SMPTE, we had the great pleasure of hosting Steadicam inventor, Garrett Brown who was on hand at the Lemac stand to demonstrate the latest and greatest Steadicam products.
Visitors to our stand were able to get hands-on with the forthcoming Tango and Smoothee (now GoPro compatible) along with the rest of the Steadicam range.
We then caught up with the Steadicam crew again at IBC where they showed us some of the new additions to their range.

Announced earlier this year at NAB, the much anticipated AG-HPX250 and AG-HC160 are expected to arrive at the end of the month and we are now taking pre-orders.
The HPX250 P2HD camera is the first handheld Panasonic camera to offer super-high-quality 10-bit 4:2:2 AVC-Intra recording making it a truly unique and exciting addition to the range. The AG-HC160 shares many of the same high-end features as the HPX250 but records in AVCHD to SD cards.

John Bowring ACS - Memorial Service
Over 1500 people attended the memorial service for John on Tuesday the 3rd of May. It was a wonderful celebration of an incredible life and one that we believe was both fitting and appropriate for a man of his immense talent and lovable nature. There was an extraordinary feeling of love and comradery in the air, that his family, staff and friends will never forget.
Thank you to all who attended for helping us to give John such an amazing send off. We were truly humbled, not only by the number of people who were there on the night but also by the abundance of happy memories that were shared.
