GMT-S generates SMPTE at 24, 25, 29.97 drop frame and 30 fps. It delivers high stability LTC to multi-track audio recorders, it jam-syncs DATs suffering from drifting internal clocks, and drives accessories such as electronic slates and video inserters. Equipped with two identical Lemo5 in/out timecode sockets, GMT-S receives timecode from OriginC+ (ASCII protocol) or from SMPTE Ltc sources (24, 25, 29.97df, 30). GMT-S can also generate its own time and date. Pressing the central button activates the internal clock, at 01h 00m 00s. An arbitrary date, starting from January 1st 1992, is incremented each time GMT-S is initialized this way.
Simple to use six hour master clock, OriginC+ syncs cameras and audio recorders through Ascii and Smpte protocols. Timecode is simply generated from the actual time of day, including month and year. Peace of mind for slateless shooting.
The Ambient Lockit ACL 202CT is a highly accurate portable timecode and video sync generator, ensuring that multiple synced cameras experience virtually no timecode drift between each other. The Lockit can be used in any recording situation where the accuracy of the TC generators in the different machines is not known and where a cable connection is not possible. Each machine is jamsynced and Genlocked (if possible) to it's own Lockit which is synced to a common source (such as an Origin C or a master camera) before the machines start.
ACL203 Tri-Level Sync Lockit supports a variety of HD video formats, as well as sample-rate-based synching for audio recorders in world clock and black audio up to 192KHz. The unit features (3) rotary encoders that control function blocks, sync format, sync frequency, and time-code frame rate. These controls allow for simple dialing even with variants of pull-up/pull-down or cross jam modes. The ACL203 can be synced externally to an Origin C via 5-pin TC cable, master camera with TC out via BNC, or even an Ambient Controller ACC501 and Ambient Lanc Logger ALL601 via it's infrared sensor.
The Lanc logger is a very small hand held timecode device for use in Film or TV. Its innovative timecode features makes it an ideal timecode source, logger and timecode conversion unit when working with DV and HDV cameras and computer based audio recorders with and without a timecode input/output. The LANC LOGGER can offer solutions both on location and in Post production. The Lanc Logger can also transmit ASCII TC by infrared.
The Dcode® Time Code Slate is a simple battery operated time code reader connected to a set of conventional clapper sticks. Time code is read on 1” LED’s which display hours, minutes, seconds, and frames. The digit pairs are separated by decimal points while displaying time code. The decimal points turn off when user bits are displayed. The display runs as long as the sticks are open.
