Tilta’s quick release baseplate has been specifically designed for use with the Sony FS7 camera. It has an integrated shoulder pad for handheld usage and also features LWS support rods for mounting accessories such as a mattebox and follow focus.
You can also add a VCT plate to quickly move from tripod mount to handheld with the flick of a single lever.
The rosettes that are on both sides of the baseplate are industry standard ARRI rosettes, meaning you can use all of your existing handgrips and accessories.
The baseplate comes with LWS rod fittings at both the front and rear. Use front rods to mount accessories like matteboxes or follow focus and the rear rods to mount batteries, radio mics or counter weights to improve balance. The baseplate comes standard with one set of 15mm ∅ x 200mm length rods.
