For purchasing information

The Avington V-Lock For Thick Zaxcom Receivers is a V-Lock radio receiver holder ("caddy") designed to hold Zaxcom radio receivers like QRX200 (or other Zaxcom 32mm x 83mm x 133mm unit) on the back of any camera with a V-Lock battery plate.

This fits the Zaxcom RX900, QRX100, QRX200, QRX235. These are the fatter, narrower size Zaxcom units. Zaxcom receivers like the Zaxcom RX200 won't fit this caddy, for those see the Avington V-Lock Caddy For Thin Zaxcom Receivers .

The V-Lock sandwiches between battery and camera on any 12V (nominally) V-Lock plate.

Power is delivered to the receiver via internal locking cable, which switches on and off automatically so that the camera does not need to needlessly drain batteries. Additionally, there are power outputs on the right hand side, providing D-Tap and Hirose connectors. The Hirose connectors are automatically switched on along with the receiver.

The whole unit is a rugged design milled from solid aluminium and bespoke plastic components.

Note on Use

The Caddy has an auto on and auto off feature. If you put your RX into the Caddy and attach a battery, the auto off function will be activated while the camera is not on. If you then attach a camera, or any other load, to the other side of the V-Lock and turn that on, the RX will then come on.
