Lemac has recently completed camera rental and data wrangling services for the filming of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Love Never Dies, the hugely popular sequel to Phantom of the Opera.
Produced by Steam Motion and Sound, production took place over four days at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre with the intent to create a DVD for worldwide release. Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber himself was in town to oversee filming, directed by Simon Phillips.
To film the live performance on a single evening, Lemac provided seven RED MX cameras at once. We also provided up to four RED cameras each day for non-audience performances, allowing the crew to get shots not possible during a live show.
Lemac Sydney’s Service Technician Matthias Pittner also provided on-set support for the Love Never Dies crew, handling data wrangling from a large number of cameras.
